Due to the cold weather and school closure for Tuesday, January 21st, there are a couple of changes to some upcoming sporting events this week.
Tuesday’s high school boys and girls basketball games against Turtle Lake have been rescheduled for Thursday, February 6th Times and location have remained the same.
The high school boys and girls basketball games that were scheduled for Friday, January 24th against Clear Lake at Northwood will now be played on Thursday, January 23rd. Varsity girls and JV boys will play at 5:45 PM and varsity boys will play at 7:15 PM. Go Big Green!
School will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st, due to extremely cold temperatures and hazardous wind chills. All classes and after-school activities are canceled. The Tiny Seeds Learning Center will also be closed. Stay Warm!

Just another reminder that there is no school for Northwood students on Friday, January 17th. The Tiny Seeds Learning will be open their regular hours, however.

Just a reminder that one way to be notified of athletic schedule changes due to weather or whatever is to use the "Notify Me" feature on our athletic calendar. Follow the steps in the graphic to help you know of cancellations and rescheduled events for sports of your choice.
Next week (Jan. 20 - 24) is Winterfest at Northwood School. The Student Council has planned some fun dress-up days to help celebrate!

There has been a 24-25 school calendar update that affects 11th grade students. The ACT date has been moved to Tuesday, March 25th. If you have any questions regarding this change, please contact Mrs. Birdsill.

The 1st graders had a lot of fun today at the Christmas Bash Festivities!
The sounds of Christmas are all around us! Students were greeted with instrumental Christmas music as they entered the building this morning. What a festive way to start the day! Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Turinske, Jacob and Noel. Mrs. Bell and the 4th graders also went 'cat' caroling through the halls spreading Christmas cheer!

The Northwood elementary students in 1st - 5th grade took a field trip yesterday to spread some holiday cheer by singing at different locations in our communities. The smiles were abundant.
