Throughout the first quarter Mrs. Turinske was “catching” middle school students reading and giving them a sticker or a charm as a reward and kept track of those who were caught. She secretly reached out to Northwind Book and Fiber in Spooner who graciously donated a $15 gift certificate to reward one of those readers. She did a drawing from the names of the students she caught reading and Santiago was awarded the gift certificate!
Thank you to Northwind Book and Fiber for supporting our students and encouraging reading! And congratulations, Santiago!
