A group of high schoolers from Ms. Hyry's English classes were able to attend "Mouse Trap" by Agatha Christie at the Guthrie in the Twin Cities today!

Just another reminder about the upcoming Pinecone Preschool Round-Up & Registration on Friday, April 11, 2025. This is a free full-day program that runs from Monday through Thursday. Students also receive free breakfast, lunch and transportation. The child needs to be 3 years old by September 1, 2025 to be eligible. Northwood's Fab Lab for tonight, Wednesday, March 26th, has been cancelled. With Mr. Adams coaching track, Fab Lab will not run the month's of April or May. For further inquiries, contact Mr. Adams via email at nikk_adams@northwoodk12wi.com.

At Northwood School, it's great to see our younger Evergreens supporting our older Evergreens! Dekker Wallace came to watch and cheer on Jared Schultz at the Border Battle Basketball Game last night at UMD. Though it wasn't a victory for Wisconsin, it was still a great event!

Another reminder about the Family & Community Night at Northwood is coming up next week. This annual event holds many great things, but most importantly are the student-led conferences. The event is on Thursday, April 3rd from 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM. We hope to see many there!

Please look at that information closely to try and make every effort to get the students here on those dates. A reminder that due to the weather days Northwood School District has had this school year, a plan has been put into place to make up instructional minutes per requirements from the state. This is being put into effect to keep the last day of school on the same date. Starting March 24th, the school day will run from 8:05 AM - 3:30 PM. April 21st will now be a regular school day. And the last day of school, May 30th, will now have a early release time of 1:15 PM. If we should have any further late starts or cancellations, the district will notify families. Reminder about Project Prom Dress! Help local youth attend their prom. Donate your clean, gently used dresses to help young ladies in the area have a night to remember. Give that dress another night to shine! Items being sought for the event are: prom dresses, party dresses, evening gowns, jewelry, shoes, purses & clutches. Collecting New & Gently Used items by March 28, 2025. Shopping Date for students is Sunday, April 12, 2025 at JLAAC in Minong from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
