Hello Northwood Families and Friends. The Musical Memorial Garden is beginning to take shape. This is located in the back of the school near our Community Garden. A huge thank you to all those involved in the fundraising and donation efforts to make this garden possible. What a great addition to our beautiful grounds. Mark your calendars! Upcoming Senior Kelsey Schultz's art work will be on display at the Arts in Hand Gallery in Spooner. Kelsey's opening reception will be on July 17th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Kelsey is another one of Northwood's very talented artists and this is a very special opportunity for her. Emme Golembiewski and Emily Berg both played in the Division 5 Girls All-State Basketball game on Wednesday, June 29th . Northwood is extremely proud of these fantastic athletes and their achievements as Evergreens.

Last week marked the end of Sandy Stapp's third term serving on the Northwood Education Foundation (NEF) Board. What an amazing nine years! Sandy has accomplished so much over the years including her leadership as the NEF President. During her years on the board and under her leadership, the Board has accomplished so many wonderful things and have provided amazing support for the students and employees of the District. Northwood is very proud of the NEF and its board members. Congratulations and Thank You Sandy! As you can imagine, Sandy will still continue to be instrumental in helping and supporting the NEF and the Northwood School District. She is truly a wonderful and amazing person!

A shout out for our custodial crew. The building is already looking great as they work their way through the classrooms and hallways while performing summer maintenance including fixes, painting and newly waxed floors. Awesome Job!
Beginning Monday, our COVID-19 Testing Clinic will be moved to the kiosk located towards the back (south side) of our main parking lot. The hours are still 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This will be open until July 31st with our current contract and funding through the state. After that, we are still waiting to hear about state funding beyond that date.

Evergreen Athletes!! Speed Camp has begun. This is a chance for student athletes to come in and utilize the weight room, gym and fields to prepare for upcoming seasons. The Camp runs from 8am - 10am and 6pm - 8pm Monday thru Thursday (You do not need to come to both sessions). This is not meant just for fall sports, but for each season and to improve as an all-around athlete. Programs have been developed by your coaches to help you improve in strength and agility.
