The Northwood Girls Basketball team has their first round of the regional tournament tonight. The girls will play Drummond and the game begins at 7pm. Just a reminder that tickets are $6 for adults. On February 3rd, NorthStar Charter students Ava Kildow (5th grade) and Tucker Madsen (7th grade) competed in Hayward at the Northwest Regional Conservation Speaking Contest. Both students placed first in their age divisions and will be competing at the state level on March 1st in Wisconsin Dells. Congratulations!
This week is Wisconsin's School Bus Driver Appreciation Week. We at Northwood School would like to thank all of our bus drivers for going the extra mile. The service you provide for the school is really appreciated!

The Youth Risk Behavior Survey for students will be conducted between February 20-March 3 for students in grades 6-12. This survey is voluntary and anonymous; the results will be used to help develop better health, education, and student support programs. An upcoming event at Northwood is a Hats for Helping Day and it is sponsored by Northwood’s Honor Society. On Tuesday, February 14th, students and staff can bring their favorite hat to school and for $1.00 they can wear it! All money collected will go to this month’s designated charity which is Northwood's Jump Rope for Heart.
