Just a reminder that the annual Penny Wars hosted by the Northwood Honor Society will be starting tomorrow, November 8th. The funds go to the Operation Rudolph charity in Minong put on the Minong Fire and EMS Auxiliary. That group then purchases Christmas gifts for our local families in need. The last day for the collection will be Thursday, November 17th.
Though the physical Book Fair is no longer up and running, and THANK YOU to all how stopped by to check out the great books on display, the online fair is still going on. If you have any unused eWallet funds, you can use them online. All orders ship home and book-only orders over $25 ship free.
We are still in need of donors for Northwood's Honor Society upcoming blood drive. Northwood is partnering with Memorial Blood Centers for a blood drive on Thursday, November 10th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. People ages 16 and older are eligible to give. The location for the blood drive is the Richards Auditorium at the Northwood School. Northwood hosted a successful Trunk or Treat last evening. There were nearly 200 treats handed out! Thanks to all who joined in the festivities to bring this fun event to our community!

Only a couple of sleeps left until Northwood's Trunk or Treat sponsored by the Honor Society. It will be on Monday, October 31st from 4 PM- 6 PM at the school. Anyone and everyone is invited to this event and it is free and open to the public. We hope to see you all there!
