Just a reminder that you can receive email notifications when a sporting event has been changed or cancelled. If you go to the school's athletics page (https://lakelandconference.org/public/genie/145/school/13/) and select "Notify Me", you will receive those notifications. Here are the steps to take to make sure you have the most up-to-date information.

Tonight's sporting events have been cancelled. Softball will practice at Northwood until 5:30 PM. Baseball will practice at Solon Springs. Track will practice at Northwood until 4:30 PM.

Some of our Northwood students got to partake in a pre-prom event in partnership with Northwood Technical College's Cosmetology Department. Northwood students chose between nails or hair sessions and the Northwood Tech students were able to practice their skills. It was a win-win of events!




Just a reminder that Friday, May 3rd is the last day for early bird pricing on the Elementary, Middle School, & NorthStar Yearbooks. The cost of these soft-cover, black & white yearbooks are $12.00 each if you preorder and pay for them by May 3rd and $15.00 if you choose to purchase them at a later date. Northwood School will be having three Community Informational Sessions with the topic being the recent district surveys. The dates are:
Wednesday, May 1st at 8:30 a.m. at Jack Link’s Aquatic & Activity Center.
Thursday, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at the District Tech Center.
Saturday, May 4th at 8:00 a.m. at the District Tech Center.
All are welcome to attend any of these events.

Yesterday (Thursday April 25th) Mrs. Turinske took 13 of her 5th grade band students to the Shell Lake Arts Center for their Beginning Band Masterclass. The students were split into 2 different bands made up of approximately 150 students from surrounding area schools. They spent the day in rehearsals, had sectionals for their particular instruments, got to make new friends with students from different schools, and ended the day with a concert! We have set a deadline of Monday, May 6th and hope to get as much valuable feedback as possible.
All residents of the District should have received a mailed copy where you can either use the QR code, mail back the hard copy, or both if you have more than one adult in the household. If you need additional survey access codes or printed copies of the survey for additional adults, please call the district office.
