Way to go, Evergreens! For our 2022 Penny Wars, we had $2,578.63 in donations to the Operation Rudolph of Minong charity. These funds will be used to buy Christmas gifts for our local youth. Thank you to all those who donated to this great cause!
Thursday is Day 8 of our Penny Wars and it is the LAST DAY! So, it is "Everything Counts" and all donations are considered positive for the class totals. We have currently done really well with the Penny Wars and have collected over $1,000.00 for Operation Rudolph charity of Minong.
One annual tradition at Northwood is the Holiday Bazaar. The students in grades PK-5th get a chance to buy gifts for their family members and will bring the wrapped gifts home right before Christmas Break. The Northwood Student Council is sponsoring the bazaar this year. They are looking for donations of men's gifts and tape for wrapping presents. If you are willing and able, please bring donations to the School Office by Friday, December 16th.
Get to Know You Wednesdays! Again for the next few Wednesdays, we are going to highlight some of our GREAT staff members. This is just a little glimpse of our caring and hard-working crew. We asked them some serious and some not so serious questions. Continuing on with our returning staff members, today we will learn more about Brian Olson, Casi Peterson and Chris Holland!
