Earlier this week, Mr. Nichols took some of his Tech Ed students on a field trip to Superior. They toured Genesis Attachments, Epicurean Factory, and Northwood Technical College in Superior, WI. Genesis makes very large destruction and recycling implements for construction companies. Epicurean makes many different kitchen items, but primarily cutting boards. And at Northwood Tech the students toured all of the programs offered through their various programs.

Next Wednesday, February 14th there will be another Hats for Helping Day at Northwood School. The donations raised will be given to Washburn County Humane Society. Any student or staff who brings in $1.00, can wear a hat (which is against our dress code) or fun headband for the day. Those wanting to participate can come to the library in the morning with their donation to get a sticker from the Honor Society members.

Mark your calendars! There will not be school on Friday, February 16th or Monday, February 19th. Enjoy the extra-long weekend!
