Mark Your Calendars! The Northwood Annual Orientation and Back-to-School Picnic is Thursday, August 17th from 4:30 - 6:30 PM. All are invited to attend! There were also some changes made to the meeting times for specific groups mentioned in the back to school packets that were mailed out. The updated times, groups needed in attendance and location are as follows: 5:00-5:30 Meeting for 6th grade students in MS and parents - library 5:30-6:00 Freshman orientation for students and parents - library 5:30-6:00 Information meeting for 5th grade science camp - 5th grade classroom 6:00-6:30 5th-8th grade flag football meeting & sign up - library 6:00-6:30 Senior Class meeting for seniors and parents - tech center 6:30-7:00 Co-Curricular Handbook meeting for all sports, clubs, etc. - auditorium If you have any further questions, please contact the school office.
Back to School Packets were mailed out last week via USPS. If your family did not receive one, please contact the school office (715-466-2297) to make sure your contact information is up-to-date. The office is open Mondays - Thursdays from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM until the first week of school.

The Northwood School District Tiny Seeds Learning Center is opening August 24th. The enrollment window for 1-3 year old children has been extended to Friday, August 11th. We are accepting Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidies. Eligible families may receive a subsidy amount to cover a portion of the cost based on income, household size, and children enrolled. Mark your calendars for this upcoming musical event at Northwood! The Spinrockers will be performing in the Richards Auditorium on Monday, July 3rd from 2:00 - 4:30 PM. The event will be FREE to all and there will be concessions available during the intermission. The Spinrockers are two musicians who have used their musical talents to show others that blindness is not a limitation. Come and enjoy this great musical opportunity in our community!
The Northwood School District is still looking to fill a few vacancies. We need summer help (16 or older) that are willing to perform summer custodial type duties. we also need to fill our Head Varsity Football Coaching position. We also have other positions for the 2023-24 school year such as support staff, bus driving, and substitute teachers, which the District can help those with an Associate Degree or higher with required 8-hour training.
