Starting Tuesday, November 7th, the Northwood Honor Society will be hosting the annual Penny War. A penny war is where pennies (copper coins) count positively to a class's / group's tally and silver coins or green bills count negatively towards the tally. So if a group has 25 pennies and then someone puts in a quarter, their tally would be zero. There will be three winners of free time with devices to be won. (There will be those wacky days like in the past, as well.) One for PK-5, one in the middle school and Charter, and one with 9th-12th grade. All funds will go towards the Operation Rudolph charity, which collects gifts for local families undergoing hardships during the holiday season. The money will be collected in the library. The last day for collecting funds will be Thursday, November 16th.
