Hello, November!
Middle school and high school students and staff are invited to share your hunting successes! Email your school appropriate photos to Mrs. Kildow to be displayed on our Brag Board. natasha_kildow@northwoodk12wi.com

Even some of the Northwood staff embraced the Halloween season to join the students in dressing up!

Starting Tuesday, November 7th, the Northwood Honor Society will be hosting the annual Penny War. A penny war is where pennies (copper coins) count positively to a class's / group's tally and silver coins or green bills count negatively towards the tally. So if a group has 25 pennies and then someone puts in a quarter, their tally would be zero. There will be three winners of free time with devices to be won. (There will be those wacky days like in the past, as well.) One for PK-5, one in the middle school and Charter, and one with 9th-12th grade. All funds will go towards the Operation Rudolph charity, which collects gifts for local families undergoing hardships during the holiday season. The money will be collected in the library. The last day for collecting funds will be Thursday, November 16th.

Due to the cold & snowy weather, the Elementary Halloween Parade has been moved inside to the gym at 2:30. We hope to see you there!

Just a reminder that Northwood will be holding Parent / Teacher Conferences. The event runs Thursday, Nov. 2nd from 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM and Friday, Nov. 3rd from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM. On Thursday evening, there will be a Free-Will Donation Taco Dinner being put on by the Class of 2024 and the newly remodeled FACE Lab will be holding tours and giving out cookies. Also, the middle and high school students will receive a reward if their class has a 65% attendance rate or higher. We hope to see you all there!
