Did you know reindeer have 4 stomachs?
4th grade students recently explored and researched Polar Animals   Their challenge was to create a life sized painting of their chosen animal. Due to the enormous size of some of the animals, a few students had to make baby versions so we could fit them in the display. Passers by seem to enjoy reading the fun facts that are posted with the animals.   Coincidentally, our students were just matched with pen pals from Cordova, Alaska !  Their new pals may actually have first hand knowledge of the animals they just  researched!  How exciting is that?
