Northwood School District

5th & 6th grade Northwood and Solon Springs students participated in Outdoor Education Camp on September 15, 16, & 17 at Swift Nature Camp on the Minong Flowage.  It was three fun filled days learning in an outdoor setting.  Classes taught by community volunteers in their area of expertise included art, canoeing, fur animals, tree identification, first aid, wildland safety, and fire safety.  The students also enjoyed a special presentation on raptors and reptiles.  A special thank you to all of the school staff and community volunteers that made the Outdoor Education Camp a fantastic experience for our students.
