Parent Teacher Conferences

Northwood School District

Thursday, November 7th  (4:00-7:30 p.m.)

Friday, November 8th  (8:00-11:00 a.m.)

You are cordially invited to attend parent teacher conferences.  We are excited to share your student’s learning and progress that has taken place so far this school year.

We encourage all parents/guardians and students to attend one of these conference dates. Research shows an increase in student achievement when students are engaged in the progress of their own learning and families maintain an active and supportive role within their child’s education. These conferences are a fantastic opportunity for parents, students, and teachers to work as a team while continuing to monitor and increase academic achievement.

At your conference:

  • Share student successes

  • Conference about class expectations

  • Talk about challenges and setting goals

  • Discuss academic and career planning

  • Take pride in student accomplishments and achievements

Middle School and High School Staff will be available in the gymnasium for conferences.  Our goal is to maximize your time meeting with your child’s teachers.  Teachers will be stationed at tables along the perimeter with a waiting area for families in the center of the gym.  If you feel you need more privacy, please request your student’s conference be moved to a classroom.

Other activities during conferences:

  • Bake Sale!  Family & Consumer Education Classes

  • Scholastic Book Fair in the library

  • Winter Clothing items available for students - in the commons

  • Lost & Found Table - in the commons

  • Treats in the commons
